Quick reminder: This aftercare guide is for our Arch, Brow Fill and Lashes service (30 minutes, $35), which includes brow arch, fill, conceal, and strip lash application for a polished finish.

Arch, Brow Fill and Lashes: First 7 Days Aftercare for brows and strip lashes

A lot of people come in skeptical or nervous at first, then tell us they loved how we explained everything step-by-step. Now for the most important rule: keep your brows and lashes dry and hands-off for the first 24 to 48 hours. That one habit protects your brow makeup, keeps your conceal looking clean, and helps your strip lashes stay put, especially in Warner Robins humidity.

First 24 to 48 hours: the rules that keep your brows crisp and lashes secure

This service is quick, but the first two days decide how long your look stays polished. We generally recommend you treat your brow area and lash band like they are "fresh." Keep them dry, keep them calm, and don’t mess with them.

No-water window: Avoid splashing water on your brows and lashes, skip steam (hot showers aimed at the face count), and hold off on pools, saunas, hot tubs, and heavy sweating.

Do this instead (so you still feel clean)

  • Wash your face around the brow area with a gentle, water-based cleanser. Use a damp cloth and work carefully around your brows and lash line.
  • When you shower, keep your face out of the direct stream. A quick rinse is fine, but don’t let hot water hit your brows and lash band.
  • If your eyes water (wind, pollen, emotions), blot. Don’t rub.

What not to do (even if it’s tempting)

  • Don’t pick at the brow makeup or “smooth” the conceal with your finger.
  • Don’t tug on the strip lash to check if it’s lifting. If you feel a corner, let us know and we’ll tell you the safest next step.
  • Don’t use oil-based removers, cleansing balms, or heavy face oils anywhere near your brows or lash line.

Days 3 to 7 in Warner Robins heat: sweat, showers, and keeping that “flawless” finish

After the first 48 hours, you’ve got more flexibility, but week one still matters. A lot of our brow clients come in nervous, then relax once they realize we’re patient and walk them through everything. Aftercare is the same. Simple rules, done consistently, keep your arch sharp and your lash band looking clean.

If you work shifts or you’re always on the go

A lot of our clients around the Robins Air Force Base perimeter and North Houston Road stay moving. If you’re coming off a long shift, your biggest enemy is sweat sitting on the skin. Keep a clean tissue in your bag and blot along the brow area and upper cheek instead of wiping across the brow.

Humidity tip: Warner Robins summers can be sticky. Sweat and pool chlorine tend to shorten wear time, so keep swims and heavy workouts lighter for the first week when you can.

Makeup rules for week one

  • Skip mascara on the strip lash. Mascara can clump and make removal messy, which leads to rubbing.
  • Keep eye makeup away from the lash band if possible. If you do liner, keep it thin and avoid oily formulas.
  • Avoid baking powders and heavy setting sprays directly over the brow. Overspray often leaves a film that makes brows look dull.

Oil-based removers, spoolies, and the 2-minute routine that saves your set

The easiest way to protect your result is to keep oils away and keep your grooming gentle. Oil breaks down makeup faster and can loosen the strip lash band, so for the first 7 days, stick with water-based products around your brows and lashes.

Morning (about 1 minute)

Gently comb your brows into place with a clean spoolie. If you wear contacts or your eyes water in the morning, blot around the lashes instead of wiping.

Evening (about 1 minute)

If you need to cleanse, use a gentle, water-based cleanser and work around the brow and lash line. Pat dry. Don’t rub, and don’t use cleansing balms near the lash band.

One more habit that helps: try not to sleep face-down. Pressure and friction are the quiet reasons brows smudge and lashes lift early.

If something feels off: irritation, accidental wetting, and when we want you to text us

We keep our space clean and calm, and we take the same approach after your appointment. If you have a question, ask. People tell us they appreciate how thorough we are, and that doesn’t stop when you walk out the door.

"She told me to call her anytime if I have any questions."

Accidentally got them wet?

Don’t panic. Gently blot with a clean tissue or lint-free pad. Don’t rub. If you notice the lash corner lifting, don’t pull it. Let us know what happened and we’ll guide you.

What’s normal vs. what’s not

  • Normal: mild awareness of the strip lash at first. Most people forget it’s there once they’re used to it.
  • Reach out: strong itching, swelling, burning, watery eyes that won’t calm down, or redness that spreads. We’d rather you check in early.

Touch-up timing: what we usually recommend for keeping the look consistent

For strip lashes, most people rebook based on events, photos, and how often they like to wear lashes. For lash services in general, refills are often recommended in the 4 to 6 week range, but we’ll tell you what makes sense for your routine. If you’re active outdoors, work long shifts, or you’re in the pool a lot during Warner Robins summer, you may want a refresh sooner so your brows stay sharp and your lash line stays clean.

Keep them dry and hands-off for the first 24 to 48 hours. That means no splashing water on your brows/lashes, no steam aimed at your face, and no pools, saunas, or hot tubs during that window.

We generally recommend skipping heavy exercise and anything that makes you sweat a lot for at least 48 hours. After that, keep sweat from sitting on the brow area by blotting instead of wiping, especially during hot and humid days.

Try to avoid eye makeup for the first 24 to 48 hours. During the first week, keep products away from the lash band when you can, and skip mascara on the strip lash so you don’t end up rubbing or tugging during removal.

Oil-based cleansers, cleansing balms, and oily makeup removers can break down products faster and can loosen lash adhesive. For at least the first 7 days, stick to gentle, water-based cleansers around the brows and lash line.

For lashes in general, refills are often recommended within 4 to 6 weeks, but we’ll confirm timing based on your wear, your schedule, and how you care for them. If you’re sweating a lot, swimming, or dealing with high humidity, you may want a refresh sooner to keep everything looking neat.
